This sounds more like what I was expecting. Metro on a tablet looks great, but when in front of a keyboard and mouse, I could see that getting in the way. I think we are going to see some serious design changes before the release, in a similar manner to how Longhorn changed before it became Vista. Which is to say, the released product may look nothing like what we’ve seen this far, or be vastly different.
